Zarb-e-Azb to continue till elimination of last terrorist: Raheel Sharif
Army chief visits Corps Headquarters Lahore, briefed about professional, operational preparations
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has on Monday said that the Operation Zarb-e-Azb will continue till the elimination of the last terrorist from Pakistan’s soil. He was briefed about the professional and operational preparations during his visit to the Lahore Corps Headquarter, reported Dunya News.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the internal and external security of the country was expected on this occasion. Army chief also addressed the officers at Lahore Garrison on this occasion. He talked about the internal and external security situation of the country, Operation Zarb-e-Azb and intelligence-based operations during his address.
Raheel Sharif said that the Operation Zarb-e-Azb has seen great success. He said that the operation has had positive effects on the cities and the operations based on intelligence have improved the security situation of the country.
Army chief reiterated his resolve to eliminate terrorism from Pakistan. He said that the operation will continue till the elimination of the last terrorist.
