Punjab Revenue Authority serves DJ Butt tax notice worth Rs. 17.2mn
DJ Butt squeezed by PTI, Punjab Revenue Authority from both sides, summoned on July 23
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – DJ Butt has on Saturday been served a tax notice worth Rs. 16 million by the Punjab Revenue Authority as the sit-in fame DJ gets squeezed by Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) on one side and Punjab Revenue Authority on the other. DJ Butt has been summoned on July 23 by the Authority while the DJ has said that he will certainly present himself before the Punjab Revenue Authority, reported Dunya News.
DJ Butt is under hot waters ever since he has come on media to get his bad debts recovered from the PTI. DJ Butt hasn’t yet recovered the amount from the PTI as yet but the Punjab Revenue Authority has already served him notice worth Rs. 17.2 million and has summoned him on July 23. DJ Butt has also handed over the bill of his expenses to the PTI according to which the sound system team spent Rs. 4.829 million rupees. Sound Engineer’s bill was worth Rs. 3.68 million and Rs. 3.65 million for helper and loader.
DJ Butt’s own services cost Rs. 647,000 while lighting bill was worth Rs. 14,000. Miscellaneous expenses accounted for Rs. 17 million.
Now the DJ will not only have to deal with the PTI to recover his money but will also have to visit the Punjab Revenue Authority time and again.
On the other hand, the tent-service providers in the sit-in have also followed DJ Butt’s lead and revealed today that PTI owes them Rs. 4.6 million and threatened to surround Bani Gala in case of non-payment.
