Employees of the province likely to get 10 per cent increase in the salary and pension.

PESHAWAR (Dunya News): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa budget for the fiscal year 2015-16 with a total outlay of Rs 467 billion will be presented today (Monday) in Peshawar.

Provincial Minister for Finance, Muzaffar Said will present the budget in the Provincial Assembly in Peshawar.

According to sources, the KPK government has allocated Rs 108 billion for primary and secondary level education in the budget.

The provincial government has also proposed 10 per cent hike in salaries and pensions of government employees while Rs 150 billion for developmental works.

Rs24 billion have been proposed for health sector while five billion rupees for subsidized ghee and flours. The provincial government has also allocated Rs 2 billion for subsidy on wheat.
