57 more Baloch militants surrender
The former separatist leaders vowed to only engage in peaceful struggle from now on
QUETTA (Dunya News) – Commanders of banned Baloch separatist outfits, Shikari Marri and Madina Marri on Sunday surrendered in Quetta at Nawab Changez Marri’s residence along with accomplices, Dunya News reported.
The commanders abandoning the rebellion said that Indian organizations are misleading and indoctrinating the Baloch youth into militancy.
Addressing a press conference, lawmaker Nawaz Changez Marri said “Pakistan is our country and Baloch separatists should join the mainstream to work for country’s progress and development”.
Provincial home minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that Indian funded organizations are misleading Baloch youth to further their agendas, adding that they will not led Indian conspiracy succeed.
Surrendering commander Deen Muhammad alias Shikari said that he was part of the so called ‘freedom’ for Balochistan, adding that they have now realized that Pakistan is their country, “the country where we’ll live and bring up our children”.
