News of India deporting Pakistani diplomat baseless: Foreign Office
The said official has been working in Pakistan, FO spokesperson said
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Foreign Office on Wednesday termed the reports of India deporting Pakistani diplomat baseless saying that the said official is deployed in Pakistan, Dunya News reported.
In a statement, Foreign Office made it clear that Indian media is busy in baseless propaganda, adding that the news of deportation of Pakistani official are baseless.
The official reported on Indian media as Muhammad Idrees has been deployed and fulfilling responsibilities in Pakistan.
Foreign Office spokesperson said that the decision to deploy Idrees in India was taken a few months back but because of visa delay by Indian government, it was decided to deploy him in another country.
The spokesperson said that Pakistan knows how to protect its geographical boundaries and that any aggression will be befittingly responded.
