CM Punjab arrives at slain MPA Rana Shamshad's house to condole
CM Punjab directed to soon arrest and bring to justice the other accused as well
LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday arrived at the residence of slain Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Rana Shamshad Ahmed Khan and expressed condolences over killing of Shamshad and his son by unknown gunmen last Sunday.
CM Punjab recited prayers for the slain MPA and his son. Talking to the victims’ family, Shahbaz Sharif said that he was personally depressed at the incident, adding that the culprits will not be able to escape from ‘severest of all punishments’.
Shahbaz Sharif acknowledged slain MPA’s services for the area, saying that they will always be remembered. He was also briefed on the investigation and was told one suspect linked in the incident has already been arrested,

Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah and Inspector General (IG) Punjab also accompanied CM Punjab on the visit.
