PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – As results of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) local body elections were announced on Friday, successful candidates rejoiced on their victories These candidates came out on the streets as soon as the results were announced. Some distributed sweets while rallies were also held. Fireworks charged up the environment even more.
Even the supporters of victorious candidates rejoiced completely on the success of their nominated candidate. They danced to the beat of the drums, showered their candidate with petals and chanted slogans.
Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) candidates win in Dera Ismail Khan was celebrated while supporters of both Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) held motorcycle rallies to celebrate victories of their candidates.
