Sindh govt, MQM announce one-day-mourning after bus shooting incident
Lawyers call a strike tomorrow to condemn
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Sindh government on Wednesday has announced a day of mourning on May 14 following the bus shooting incident near Safoora Chowrangi in Gulistan Johar killing at least 44 while injuring several passengers.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has appealed the traders, schools’ administrations, transporters and industrialists to not conduct business May 14. Different organizations including Awami National Party (ANP) have also announced observance of one-day-mourning.
Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) bar association senior vice president Shabir Awan, Sindh High Court (SHC) bar president Abid Zubairi and Malir bar association have called a strike tomorrow.
