Resumption of talks with India bodes well, says Rehman
Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik has termed the resumption of dialogue with India as a positive sign, adding that both the countries wanted peace in the region. Talking to media outside Parliament House on Tuesday, Rehman said that the foreign ministers meeting scheduled for next month would boost ties with India. He said all the Saarc members approved to launch joint efforts against terrorism. He said that terror activities are being carried out in India and Pakistan in the name of religion. He said an inter-religion conference would soon be held in Sri Lanka to chart out a joint strategy against the terrorists.
