Blast injures five QRF officials, one passerby in Peshawar
The condition of one QRF official is said to be critical.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – At least one passerby and five officials of Quick Response Force (QRF) sustained injuries in a blast near Gulbahar Police Station in Peshawar today (Friday), Dunya News reported.
According to police, the bomb was planted alongside the road and when the QRF car reached near it the bomb exploded injuring five officials and a passerby.
Police team and high officials reached the scene and cordoned off the area whereas rescue teams shifted the injured to Lady Reading Hospital for medical assistance. The condition of one QRF official is said to be critical.
As per initial police reports, the blast was conducted through remote controlled device and carried two kilograms explosives.
Moreover, the hospital administration has halted media coverage of the injured.
