Strict security measures have been taken for Chinese president's visit

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Foolproof security arrangements on Monday has been done for China’s president Xi Jinping’s visit to Pakistan. Teams comprising army men, Rangers, police’s special branch and intelligence institutions personnel have been appointed across one kilometre (KM) of the Red Zone area.

According to details, the security of federal capital is on red alert during Chinese president’s visit. The security of the parliament has been taken over by the Triple One brigade of the army.

The hospitals and staff are also on emergency duties for the whole day. The entry of general public in the Parliament’s gallery during the joint session will remain suspended and the staff of Senate and National Assembly will be seated in the gallery instead.

Parliament members have been directed not to bring guests along for the session. The traffic police is also performing duties with at least 416 personnel in the capital.

The entry of heavy traffic will be suspended on April 20 and 21. The traffic coming to the capital from Lahore via GT Road will be diverted towards Peshawar.
