Member PTI Dr. Seema Raza criticized the proceedings to which Nisar Khoro got angry

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Jokes came aplenty as the Sindh assembly discussed animal hunting on Tuesday. The spates of jokes were criticized by opposition members on the floor while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members staged a walkout from assembly floor, reported Dunya News.

In a series of jokes by the parliamentarians, Nusrat Sehar Abbasi raised the question of extinction of partridge to which the speaker jested that partridge have no system of family planning.

Nusrat Sehar Abbasi again raised the question as to how many partridges were allowed to be hunted to which the Speaker joked that Nisar Khoro had hunted 20 partridges, while Nasir Shah said that Nisar Khoro hunted 9 while Shehreyar Mehar had hunted 11 partridges.

Saleem Bandhani of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) inquired the districts in which game hunting is conducted to which Nasir Hussain Shah made light of the matter, saying that he does not fire shotgun but the ‘other gun’.

Member PTI Dr. Seema Raza criticized the proceedings to which Nisar Khoro got angry.

Dr. Seema Raza walked out soon afterwards.

After question-answer break, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) member Qulsoom Chandio requested that the session be adjourned due to death anniversary of former Chief Miniter Sindh Abdullah Shah.

The proceedings were adjourned till Friday as the plea was accepted.
