War situation in Saudi Arabia, 300 Pakistanis stuck at Medina airport
The Saudi airlines was supposed to bring the Pakistani passengers to Riyadh and then to Lahore.
MEDINA MUNAWARA (Dunya News) – More than 300 Pakistani passengers on Saturday were stuck at Medina Munawara airport as a war situation in Saudi Arabia was implemented. The Pakistanis stuck at the airport have been waiting to return home for the past 3 days. The Saudi authorities have not given them the clearance for their return. Majority of them are Umrah pilgrims.
The Saudi airlines was supposed to bring the Pakistani passengers to Riyadh and then to Lahore. The passengers complained that they were suffering due to the lack of interest of Pakistan s Embassy.
The Saudi government is only allowing permission to leave to foreigners after a clearance due to Saudi Arabia’s ongoing war with Yemen.
