KP govt names 109 schools after APS school martyrs

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) -- As many as 109 schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) have been named after the martyrs of Army Public School (APS) Peshawar, Dunya News has learned.

The institutes that have been renamed belong to different parts of the province; 63 from Peshawar, 10 from Charsadda, 5 each from Malakand and Nowshera, 4 each from Kohat and Mardan, 3 from Karak, while 2 each from Swabi, Hangu and Abbottabad.

In spite of declaring  education emergency  in the province, 9 schools remained close in Peshawar while Nowshera, hometown of the incumbent Chief Minister of KP also has 15 schools closed.
