Privileges enjoyed by institutions against Islam: IIC
After noting that the certain privileges being enjoyed by members of executive, judiciary and legislative against the Islamic teachings, the Islamic Ideological Council (IIC) suggested to chart out the laws as per the Quran and Sunnah.During the 178th session of the IIC on Sunday, it was also recommended to present the proposals in the parliament as ordinances for legislation. The IIC notified that the minorities funds could not be used for preparations of Haj, Umrah Milad or education of any Muslim. Besides, it was also proposed to rid the banking system of interest and base it on trade and consultations. The meeting condemned the murder of JUI leader Maulana Mairajud Din, attack on Ahmadis worship places and aggressive Israeli raids on aid ships.
