Method of SC advocacy license challenged in SC Lahore registry
Petitioner requested the apex court to declare the current license obtaining method void.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Method of obtaining the license of Supreme Court (SC) advocacy has been challenged in SC registry Lahore on Monday, Dunya News reported.
A petition was registered in SC Lahore registry by Gohar Nawaz Sindhu stating that the license of SC advocacy has become very difficult as officials of Pakistan Bar Council are continuously issuing license of SC to their most favorite lawyers.
He further remarked that the officials are infringing the system of merit by their corruption and requested the apex court to declare the current license obtaining method void.
Moreover, petitioner urged the court to take action over this issue.
