MQM arranges Milad to pay homage to Prophet (PBUH)
Meanwhile, Altaf Hussain also denounced the publication of Prophet (PBUH) caricatures.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) arranged a Mehfil-e-Milad to offer darud on the sacred religious personality Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) today (Sunday) in Karachi while the Chief of MQM Altaf Hussain condemned the caricatures publication and termed it as an attack on Muslim’s religion.
As per details, Mehfil-e-Milad was held at Jinnah Ground in Azizabad which was attended by prominent religious leaders and naat khawans whereas the Milad also witnessed huge number of the participants.
While addressing the congregation via telephone, Altaf Hussain expressed that no one can degrade the prestige of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as He is a cause of ‘Rehmat’ for non-Muslims as well.
Moreover, administration also beefed up the security arrangements for the Milad attendees.
