Alleged rigging took place in NA-124, claims Aitzaz Ahsan
Aitzaz Ahsan demanded to form Judicial Commission to probe election rigging.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Opposition Leader and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) member Aitzaz Ahsan issued a white paper on alleged election rigging in NA-124 today (Monday) from where his wife Bushra Aitzaz contested in the elections while Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Sheikh Roheel Asghar got successful.
While issuing the white paper in press club, Aitzaz Ahsan accused that the inspection of 264 bags has proven that elections were rigged at a large scale.
Aitzaz Ahsan stated that the documents of ten polling stations were unrelated to the election as 53 out of 82 sealed bags did not contain form-14 whereas 57 bags were lacking form-15.
He further claimed that the counter files of 34 bags were destroyed.
Only 227 certificates were verified of which, only 12 were objected by the opposite candidate, he added.
Aitzaz Ahsan has called on Prime Minister (PM) and other ministers for face to face debate regarding the proofs of alleged rigging.
He claimed that someone allegedly formulated the results and gave them to the returning officers.
Moreover, he also demanded to form a Judicial Commission to carry out an investigation after the results of rigging.
