KPK Assembly: MPA Babar Saleem protests on unavailability of funds

Babar Saleem stated that he was constantly ignored in the question of developmental funds
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Drama hit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Assembly on Monday 12th January 2015 as Member of the Provincial Assembly Babar Saleem started to protest on the unavailability of funds for development. Other members of the assembly tried to dispel the protest and shoved Babar Saleem out of the assembly. The opposition members walked out of the assembly in support of Babar Saleem.
According to the details, the meeting of the KPK Assembly was presided over by speaker Asad Qaiser. Things took an interesting turn however when the government allied party Awami Jamhuri Itehad’s MPA Babar Saleem started to protest persistently in the assembly. The reason for the protest according to him was that the assembly was neglecting the point of unavailability of funds for development. He went and sat in front of the speaker’s dice refusing to budge. The security personnel had to haul him out of the assembly by force.
Babar Saleem stated that he was constantly ignored in the question of developmental funds. Members of the opposition also walked out of the assembly in support of Babar Saleem at which point the meeting was adjourned by the speaker.
