Faisalabad/Multan: Locals protest against gas outages
PPP workers and the locals raised slogans against the Sui Northern authorities
FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – Locals burnt tyres and raised slogans on the roads to demonstrate a protest against the severe gas outages at Abdullah Pur on Jaranwala Road.
According to the details, people blocked the road and raised slogans against the government holding cooking utensils and stoves for not having enough gas supply to prepare a one-time meal in their homes.
Separately, people came out of the roads to demonstrate a protest against the severe gas outages in different parts of Multan. Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) workers and the locals raised slogans against the Sui Northern authorities at the Kotla Tolay Khan Chowk.
Protesters reached the Do Kota Chowk to demonstrate a protest for not having gas supply in the houses in Dunyapur. They burnt tyres and blocked the Karlu Dharan Khanewal Super Highway.
However, the police negotiated with the protesters and ensured them to present their demands to the authorities upon which the protesters dispersed.
