PTI's Hamid Khan shows reservations over amendments for army courts

The next meeting of the legal team will be held on Tuesday

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Hamid Khan on Monday has expressed reservations over the establishment of army courts in the country.

Khan is a part of the committee of the constitutional experts for the amendment in the constitution for establishment of the army courts.

According to the sources, Khan showed reservations over the matter saying that he has a personal reason for reservations over the establishment of army courts. Khan said that the government should better the working of other courts rather to establish army courts. PTI does not have any reservation over the matter, he added.

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) member Aitzaz Ahsan said that least amendments should be done for the establishment of army courts. Whereas Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) member Farogh Naseem has supported the government leadership’s decision regarding amendments.

Furthermore, the next meeting of the legal team will be held on Tuesday.
