PM calls meeting to review counter-terrorism strategies
ISI DG Rizwan Akhtar and COAS General Raheel Sharif will also attend the meeting
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Sunday has called a meeting to discuss the Interior stability of the country. Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Director General (DG) along with other parliamentarian including Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
The meeting would review the security situation and the progress of the operation against terrorists in the entire country after the brutal attack of Army Public School (APS) Peshawar.
ISI DG Rizwan Akhtar and COAS General Raheel Sharif would also be attending the meeting.
The COAS would brief the meeting on the progress of the Operation Zarb-e-Azb while the implementation of the National Action Plan against terrorism would also be reviewed.
