KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Farooq Sattar on Saturday demanded the government to immediately implement the anti-terrorism policy, Dunya News reported.

According to the details, Sattar said that the policy of the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) must be regulated by the parliament and that the military courts are a temporary solution to the problem.

He said that MQM supported the formation of the military courts after strong assurances that it is only a temporary solution and that only terrorists will be targeted.

MQM leader said that many terrorist attacks could have been averted had the NACTA come into effect in 2013.
