Perpetrators of Peshawar, Quetta and Wagah attacks will not be spared: PM

Protection of all the citizens is top priority of the government, PM Nawaz said.

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif today (Tuesday) held consultation with legal experts on different aspects of national security in Islamabad, the Radio Pakistan reported.

On the occasion, the Prime Minister vowed to continue indiscriminate action against all terrorists.

He said the nation will not forget the barbaric incidents that took place in Peshawar, Quetta and Wagah, adding that perpetrators of these attacks will not be spared.

He said protection of all the citizens irrespective of their caste, creed and religion is the foremost priority of the government.

The Prime Minister also emphasized the need for addressing the root causes of terrorism.

Earlier today, it was reported that the premier has cancelled all other engagements and he will spend the entire day by focussing on matters pertaining to the national security.

The Prime Minister is also expected to hold consultations with the military leadership and senior advisors on security matters.
