SC takes notice of infants' deaths at Sargodha hospital
Secretary Health has been directed to submit a report within 48 hours.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Supreme Court of Pakistan today (Tuesday) took notice of infants` deaths at District Headquarter Hospital in Sargodha and directed Secretary Health to submit report.
The apex court has directed Secretary Health to submit report in Registrar Office within 48 hours.
It is pertinent to mention here that 26 newborns died during one week due to absence of facilities, including unavailability of oxygen and incubators shortage, and negligence of the doctors.
