Karachi: Lyari gang war commander, 4 criminals killed
Nadeem Japani was involved in the killing of 60 people including a Head Constable
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Lyari gang war commander and four other criminals, wanted in dozens of killing cases have been killed on Friday in police encounters in different areas.
Reportedly, a criminal Sardar Saqib was killed in an alleged encounter with Crime Investigation Department (CID) of Police in Chanesar Goth in Karachi.
According to the CID, Saqib was involved in killing of a Head Constable Javed Akhtar and many other officials.
In another police encounter, a commander of gang war in Lyari Nadeem alias Japani was killed in the precincts of Napier Police Station.
The outlaw was involved in the killing of around 60 people including a Head Constable Zaman. Reprtedly, he was associated with Baba Ladla group.
Separately, two criminals named, Faiz Muhammad alias Lala Aurangi and Naeem Kalu were killed in a police encounter in Kalakot area of Karachi.
Aurangi was wanted in as many as 50 cases of target killing and terrorism.
Meanwhile, in Sangolin area of Lyari, in another alleged police encounter a gang war criminal, Younus Madhi was killed.
According to the police, Madhi was a wanted criminal in more than 15 killing cases.
