Model Town vandalism: JIT to start investigation today

PAT chief has rejected the JIT credibility and demanded Judicial Commission's report.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Joint Investigation Team (JIT) will start its inquiry on Model Town vandalism today (Wednesday) whereas chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri distrusted the JIT and demanded Judicial Commission s report.

According to details, JIT comprises of Inter Services Intelligence’s (ISI) Colonel Ahmed, Intelligence Bureau’s (IB) Muhammad Ali, Senior Superintendent (SSP) Shehzad Akbar and Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) Police s Deputy Superintendent (DSP) Khalid Abubakar.

On the other hand, an official notification of the joining of all four members has also been issued.

Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Quetta Abdul Razzaq Cheema would head the team whereas PAT chief has discredited the JIT as Judicial Commission s report has not been surfaced yet.

The Model Town vandalism not only includes the names of the Prime Minister (PM) and Chief Minister (CM) but also ministers from both Federal and Provincial governments.
