LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) has decided to hold district conventions in order to counter the anti-government movements by Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) along with other opposition parties. Party leadership has directed to expedite public relations campaign after 10th of Muharram. It has been decided that party workers, who remained by PML-N’s side under Pervaiz Musharraf’s dictatorship, will be given important responsibilities.

According to credible sources within PML-N, party leadership has been told that the party may suffer serious challenges during next elections if it did not reactivate its workers against PTI’s processions. PML-N leadership has been advised to increase the party outreach in order to engage workers.

PML-N has directed its provincial and district heads to expedite their public relations campaigns after 10th of Muharram and organize as many events as possible. The ruling party has also decided to remove all the ineffective and inefficient office-bearers and replace them with workers who sided with the party through all the thick and thin.
