People gave verdict in favor of new provinces: Altaf Hussain
New provinces, administrative units throughout Pakistan are need of the hour, says MQM chief
LONDON, HYDERABAD: (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has said that the people of Pakistan have given their verdict in favor of new provinces and new administrative units throughout Pakistan. He said that majority of Sindhis have proved today, by celebrating Black Day, that they favor more administrative units. He said that new provinces and administrative units are need of the hour. He thanked the transporters, traders and people from all walks of life for making Black Day a success.
Addressing the office bearers of MQM Hyderabad Zonal Office today (Sunday) on phone, Altaf Hussain said that the feudal lords belonging to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) never accepted the immigrant Sindhis and Urdu-speaking people and PPP laid the foundations of this hatred in 1973. He said that despite PPP’s claims that it is a national political party, history proves that it has always played ‘Sindh Card’ instead of ‘Pakistan Card’.
Altaf Hussain said that the Urdu and Sindhi speaking people living in all cities of Sindh including Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Mirpur Khas, Nawabshah, Sanghar, Tando Adam, Tando Allah Yaar, Khairpur, Jacobabad, Larkana and Kashmor have proved today by observing Black Day against corrupt and tyrant PPP rule and PPP’s ethnic bigotry that Sindh and rest of Pakistan need new provinces and administrative units. He said that it is the collective decision of Sindhi and Urdu speaking people that they will end the corrupt, outdated and feudatory culture. He paid tribute to the people of Karachi and rest of the province for observing Black Day.
