Orakzai: 33 militants killed in clash with security forces

Around 33 militants were killed and 15 others injured in spars with the security forces in Orakzai Agency on Sunday.Official sources said that the clash between the security forces and militants took place at Syed Kahlil Kalay in which the hideouts of the militants were also destroyed. Meanwhile, in Shanakripa 12 militants were killed.Curfew has been imposed for an indefinite period in Anjani Khel and Kalaya Headquarters. Political Agent Riaz Mehsud told Dunya News, via telephone that the forces have wretched control of 90 percent area of Lower Orakzai Agency, which would result in securing of Hangu and Kohat. He added that operation would be launched in upper Orakzais areas Ghulju and Daboori soon.
