Govt, PTI committees to resume dialogue today
PTI committee has gotten Imran Khan's approval over written response, reports suggest.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The government and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) negotiations committees on Sunday agreed on resuming the dialogue scheduling the meeting for 5pm today (Sunday), Dunya News reported.
According to the sources, PTI and the government committees are scheduled to resume negotiations at 5pm today. Reportedly, PTI committee has gotten PTI chief Imran Khan’s approval regarding the written response and the committee has given the written response the final review to be presented at the eleventh phase of the dialogue.
Reports suggest that a written exchange will take place between PTI and the government over Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s resignation, reformation of election commission and the terms of reference.
Abdul Hafeez Pirzada will join the PTI committee whereas Attorney General will become part of the government committee for the negotiation.
