LoC: Rangers arrest Indian BSF officer
The Indian officer trespassed into Pakistani territory while carrying officially authorized weapon.
SIALKOT (Dunya News) – An officer of Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) has been arrested after encroaching the premises of Pakistan from Bajwat sector of Sialkot on Wednesday.
According to the sources, the Indian officer trespassed into Pakistan while carrying officially authorized weapon. Rangers spotted the Indian officer at Bajwat sector and got him arrested. He has now been transferred to an undisclosed location for further investigation. According to the details, the officer had illegally crossed the border and is therefore taken into custody.
Rangers’ officials have registered their protest with BSF’s high officials and also informed Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the incident who would raise this issue on a higher platform.
