Army clears Boya and Degan as operation Zarb-e-Azb continues successfully
Crucial militant strongholds in Boya and Degan have been successfully cleared out: ISPR
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Army has successfully cleared the areas of Boya and Degan killing four terrorists and destroying twelve landmines during the North Waziristan operation.
A thorough search operation is being simultaneously conducted in Mirali. Reportedly, Pakistan Army has been very successful in its ongoing operation due to its efforts.
ISPR (Inter-Service Public Relations) said in a statement that in addition to destroying landmines, landmine making factories have also been destroyed, adding that after eliminating terrorists from Miranshah, Degan and Boya have also been cleared from terrorists. Boya and Degan were crucial strongholds of several foreign and local terrorists, the statement added.
ISPR said that terrorists were using heavy machine guns and firing rockets on the security personnel from the surrounding areas of Mirali. The Pakistan Army is rigorously conducting a search operation in Mirali and security personnel were deployed in marketplaces as well.
