Rain brings respite from sultry weather
Weather turned pleasant after Lahore received the first rain of Monsoon.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Incessant rainfall in twin cities flushed the heat out and the city look clean and pleasant. The change in the weather was a treat to the people exhausted of the continuous loadshedding. The Celsius dropped in Lahore due to high winds. Further rain shower is expected in many adjoining cities during the next 24 hours. The rain also bathed Gujranwala, Gujrat and other adjoining areas.
The clouds blanketed Lahore after midnight and it started to rain early morning today, pushing the heat away making the weather pleasant. According to the Met Office, it is expected to rain in Lahore in the next 24 hours. Many areas including Sargodha and Hazara division are also expected to feel relieved after it rains.
Rain has been anticipated to fall in parts of Sindh including Thar, Nagarparkar and Islamgoth. Drizzling with gusty winds predicted in the coastal areas of Karachi would wash out the dreariness in the environment.
