Khyber Agency: Two-day polio campaign begins in Bara
118 polio teams formed for two-day campaign in Khyber Agency.
PESHAWAR (Web Desk) – Anti-polio campaign has started today (Friday) in Tehsil Bara of Khyber Agnecy amid tight security, Dunya News reported.
The polio drive aims to inoculate more than 40,000 children, aged below five years, during two-day campaign in the area.
According to Health Department, 118 teams are participating in the drive whereas FC, Khasadar Force and additional contingents of Levies personnel will be deployed to avert any untoward incident.
Khyber Agency was declared sensitive for the disease after polio virus was detected in four children this year.
