Peshawar airport: Firing at PIA flight leaves one dead, one injured
Gunmen opened fire on a PIA flight PK756 --en route from Riyadh to Peshawar.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – At least one female passenger was killed while flight steward Ijaz Afridi was injured after unknown gunmen opened fire on a Pakistan International Airlines flight while landing at the Bacha Khan International Airport.
According to PIA spokesman, the incident took place as PIA flight PK 756 --en route from Riyadh to Peshawar with around 170 passengers onboard was landing at the airport.
Flight steward Ijaz Afridi has been shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH).
Law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the area and launched search operation.
