Qari Zia-ur-Rehman, Maulvi Fakir Muhammad killed in attack by security forces
At least thirty militans were killed in an operation conducted by the security forces in Mohmand Agency. Helicopters gunship pounded militants suspected hideouts. According to official sources, Tehreek-e Taliban senior commanders including Qari Zia-ur-Rehman, Maulvi Fakir Muhammad were also killed in the attack.An underground bunker hideout in Diwezai area of Pindyali tehsil was targeted and destroyed during the attack. An Arab national, was also among those killed in the bombardment.
