Petrol price reduced by Rs1.72 per litre

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has directed to reduce the prices of petroleum products.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The government has announced to reduce the prices of petroleum products.

According to Spokesman of Prime Minister’s House, PM Nawaz Sharif on Monday directed to reduce the POL prices immediately.

The price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 1.72 per litre and its new price will be Rs 108.31 per litre.

Meanwhile, price of Kerosene has been reduced by Rs 5.71 per litre, High Octane Rs 4.66, light diesel Rs 5.6 per litre, diesel Rs 2 per litre, high speed diesel has been reduced by Rs 2.90 per litre.

The revised price takes effect from midnight.

It is to mension here that Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had recommended decrease in petroleum prices last week.

OGRA had also forwarded a summary to the government recommending decrease in the prices of petroleum.
