Peshawar: Sixth stage of 'Sehat Ka Insaf' campaign underway

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The sixth stage of Sehat Ka Insaf (Justice for Health) programme is underway in Peshawar amid tight security.
The latest stage was inaugurated after Khyber Pakhtunkhwa health minister administered polio drops to children at Cantonment Hospital.
Addressing the media, Shaukat Yousafzai said around 300,000 children are being inoculated in 95 union councils of Peshawar. Meanwhile, the provincial minister refused to comment about the funds allocated for this health programme.
The minister also visited different wards of the hospital.
Earlier, in the fifth stage, around 48,000 were left without vaccination while 42,000 parents refused to vaccinate their children against polio virus. One of the officials said around 800,000 children are inoculated every Sunday.
