LHC dismisses petition against suspension of CNG supply
The court remarked that gas supply to the domestic consumers should be ensured on priority basis.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Justice Ijaz Ahmad of Lahore High Court heard a petition against suspension of CNG.
The counsel of the petitioner maintained the stance that suspension of CNG was creating problems and loss but the government was not paying attention on it.
The lawyer of the state told the court that consumption of gas increases due to extreme cold in the winter season and the CNG was suspended to facilitate the domestic consumers.
After hearing the arguments of the petitioner and defense counsel, the court dismissed the petition and remarked that the gas supply to domestic consumers should be ensured on priority basis.
