Khyber Agency: Six killed in US drone strike
This is the first US drone strike in Loi Shalman area, Khyber Agency .
KHYBER AGENCY (Dunya News) – At least six people were killed in a drone strike in Mach Magai area of Loi Shalman near Khyber Agency on Saturday.
According to political administration, two missiles were fired while a boat in River Kabul was targeted in the strike. Six people were killed while two others injured in the drone attack, administration added.
The injured identified as Hamid and Shabir were taken to Landi Kotal hospital.
This is the first US drone strike in Loi Shalman area.
The last drone strike was carried out in Hangu that killed six people. Massive protests were sparked against the drone strikes while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) blocked NATO supply in Peshawar to protest against drone strikes in Pakistan.
The PTI decision to choke Nato supply was hailed by Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Munawar Hassan and Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rasheed.
