Two cops among 4 killed in Kohat clashes, curfew imposed
Curfew has been imposed in Kohat and Hangu while all institutions will remain closed on Tuesday.
KOHAT (Dunya News) – Death toll reached four after one more victim of Kohat clashes died on Monday night.
Earlier, curfew was imposed in Kohat and Hangu after unidentified gunmen killed three people, including two police officials.
Following the clashes, several shops in the city were set ablaze. The situation in Kohat remains tense and army was called in to maintain law and order. Members of the media were also targeted and a local journalist was injured.
Police and troops later cordoned off the area and ordered markets closed. City administration and police sealed the entry and exit points, while residents had been directed not to leave their homes.
