140 suspects held in Karachi
Police say the held people include extortionists POs robbers killers and kidnappers.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Rangers and police arrested 140 criminals during the last twenty-four hours.
The spokesman of Sindh Police said that the arrested people include extortionists‚ proclaimed offenders‚ robbers‚ killers and kidnappers.
A huge quantity of arms was also recovered from their possession.
Rangers have arrested eighteen criminals in ongoing targeted operation.
Targeted operation jointly launched by Rangers and police under directives of the federal and Sindh provincial governments continues in Karachi and 11 more suspects were arrested on Sunday.
According to officials‚ Rangers have arrested eleven criminals in ongoing targeted operation in Manghopir area.
A large quantity of arms and ammunition was also seized from them.
Earlier, overnight police arrested four accused, including a target killer, during a raid in Malir.
According to police sources target killer Akhtar Ali was involved in killing of police officials.
Police also arrested four accused from kimari area while three accused were arrested from sadder area.
Police also recovered weapons and drugs from the possession of suspected criminals.
