MQM chief Altaf Hussain has termed the ongoing operation in Karachi as replica of 1992 operation.
LONDON (Online) - Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has termed the ongoing targeted operation in Karachi as replica of 1992 operation.
He said that that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) government for another time is doing the ethnic cleansing of Muhajirs.
“Operation against MQM started under the umbrella of operation against criminals”, Altaf said.
Talking to MQM’s coordination committee members and other office bearers, Altaf Hussain said that the party would face the situation with courage.
The MQM chief directed the coordination committee to appraise human rights organizations, NGOs and diplomats about state oppression against the party.
“State oppression and genocide of Muhajir has been started once again”, he said.
He also directed the office-bearers of the party to raise their voice at every forum under the constitution and law.
Altaf asked the party workers to physically get ready to face state oppression.
