9 new ministers inducted in Sindh cabinet

The ministers were sworn in at the Governor House.

 

KARACHI (Dunya News) - The PPP-led Sindh government has inducted nine more ministers in its cabinet on Wednesday.

 

Governor Sindh Dr. Ishratul Ebad administered oath to the new ministers.

 

The new ministers include Syed Owais Muzaffar‚ Rubina Saadat Qaimkhani‚ Jam Mahtab‚ Jam Khan Shoro‚ Ali Mardan Shah‚ Javed Nagori‚ Dost Ali Rahmun‚ Gyan Chand and Mukesh Kumar Chawla.

 

With the inclusion of these ministers, the strength of Sindh cabinet has risen to 15. 

 

It is pertinent to mention here that the Pakistan Peoples  Party (PPP) had delayed expansion of the provincial cabinet as the party leadership was waiting for Muttahida Qaumi Movement s (MQM) response over the coalition offer. 

 

The PPP leadership had formally invited MQM to join the party a few weeks earlier. Following the PPP’s offer the MQM had also conducted a referendum to know workers opinion.

 

However the MQM delayed the outcome of the referendum for reasons best known to the party
