9 killed as bomb hits SHC judge's convoy in Karachi
The incident took place on Burns Road early Wednesday.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - At least nine people were killed and 15 others injured when a bomb hit Sindh High Court judge Maqbool Baqir s convoy in Karachi on Wednesday.
According to police, Justice Baqir was going to court when a bomb attached to a motorcycle went off near his vehicle.
Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon said that Justice Baqir was wounded in the attack and he is being treated at Agha Khan Hospital.
The dead included one of the judge s guards. Police officers and passers-by were among the injured and dead.
The bomb also damaged nearby shops. However, no one claimed responsibility for the attack.
