Nawaz vows to overcome loadshedding
Nawaz Sharif was addressing the first meeting of federal cabinet in Islamabad today.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said the government is committed to address the issue of power load shedding‚ which is a grave problem.
In his inaugural address to the first meeting of the federal cabinet in Islamabad on Monday‚ he said the government will take all possible measures to improve the electricity supply situation and reduce load shedding in the minimum possible time.
Nawaz Sharif said the new government will devise a consensus strategy in consultation with all the stakeholders to overcome terrorism.
He said corruption will not be tolerated at any cost and each one will have to show his performance for the betterment of the people.
The Prime Minister urged the members of the cabinet to work for decreasing state expenditures and ensure public service. He said each public servant should be bound for ensuring puncuality in office.
Nawaz Sharif said the new government will have to give solid performance as there is no room for any inefficiency.
