All accused of Mir Murtaza Bhutto murder case acquitted

A Karachi Court has acquitted all the accused of Mir Murtaza Bhutto murder case in its decision after 13-years, reported Dunya News. Additional Sessions Judge Aftab Ahmad read the court verdict. The brief decision said that the accused couldnt be proved guilty. Those who have been acquitted include former DIG Shoaib Sadal, additional IG Wajid Durrani, AIG Welfare Shahid Hayat, police officer Bashir Ahmad Qaim Khani, Zulfiqar, Raja Hamid, Agha Jameel and Rai Tahir. Former adviser to CM Sindh Abdullah Shah, who was nominated in the case, has passed away. All the accused were present in the court when the decision was heard however no member of Bhutto family was present on this occasion. Earlier, Sindh High Court had acquitted President Asif Ali Zardari and Shakaib Qureshi last year and sent back the case to city court. The hearing of this case lasted for 13 years.
