KPK CM sends summary to governor for assembly dissolution
CM Hoti forwarded summary to governor for dissolution of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti on Tuesday forwarded a summary to Governor Engr. Shaukar Ullah, advising him over the dissolution of the provincial assembly.
The Governor House spokesman said the assembly will be dissolved by midnight tonight.
According to Dunya News, Justice (retd) Tariq Pervaiz will take oath as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s caretaker Chief Minister on Wednesday.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s assembly dissolution comes three days after the National Assembly was dissolved on Saturday night.
A caretaker setup is to be selected now to take over to oversee general elections which, according to the constitution, have to be held within 60 days of the assembly’s dissolution.
