Joseph Colony incident: MQM slams Punjab govt for 'negligence'
MQM leaders say their party would continue efforts for rehabilitation of Joseph Colony victims.
LAHORE (Dunya News):- While talking to the media along with Raza Haroon in Lahore on Wednesday, Hyder Abbas Rizwi said that the incident of Badami Bagh Lahore is open barbarism against Christian community. It has brought discredit to the entire nation which is already facing global pressure regarding war on terror.
“If the Punjab security forces had taken in time preventive action, dwellings of minorities might have been secured from burning”, said MQM leader, adding that this shameful incident evident that the government of Punjab has absolutely failed to provide security to the citizens.
Replying a query, he said that the MQM is not only standing with its Christian brothers in hard time but it would also continue its endeavors regarding rehabilitation of the affectees.
